Roy & his father Eldon collaborated in making decoys in the 1960`s and early 1970`s. These Mergansers are excellent examples of the `Eldon & Roy` decoys.

Harvey Hamilton (Lawyer) & brother Harry from Atlantic, NC moved to Beaufort/Morehead City circa early 1900`s - very old bird, worn original paint, has keel weight.

Believed to be made by George Hancock, both decoys have keel weights. `H` inscribed on bottom.

Very old decoys circa 1930`s-40`s from a Core Sound hunting club and re-headed by a Davis Shore maker.

Kermit Smith made relatively few decoys, which makes this Pintail drake quite rare. Appears original head, solid decoy.

Scaup drake by TUVESON DECOY CO., & re-headed & re-worked by Roy Willis. This decoy was found in the drift on Core Banks near the Portsmouth Coast Gurard Station in 1966. `Tip-up` decoy still has the `TUVESON MFG. CO` metal plate still attached.

Scaup drake from Ephraim Fulcher`s personal hunting rig has his brand `IF` on bottom, re-headed by Eldon Willis. Ephraim Fulcher branded cattle & decoys with `IF`, and reportedly registered his brand as `IF` at the Carteret County courthouse, as the initials EF had already been taken. Scaup drake form William Fulford`s personal hunting rig and is branded `WVF`, re-headed by Eldon Willis.

Scaup is a classic `Clubhouse decoy` - Holly body with Henry Murphy head, from the personal hunting rig of Henry Murphy. Initials `HM` carved in bottom. Redhead drake is a classic `Clubhouse decoy` - Dodge Factory body reheaded by Henry Murphy, renowned guide & decoy maker from Davis, NC. `HM` carved in bottom.

Two important Blackducks by Harkers Island maker, well make, detailed. These two decoys were found adrift near Harkers Island by Johnnie Russell in 1964.

Alfred Howard Gaskill was one of Stacy`s early carvers & hunting guides. These two blackducks were made in Alfred`s later years, & are in excellent condition.

Roy found the `Clubhouse decoy` Redhead in the drift on Core Banks in 1955. second Redhead drake is from the personal hunting rig of Alvah Fulcher, Stacy, NC, with `AF` carved on bottom. Body appears to be a TUVESON MFG. CO., and re-headed with Alvah Fulcher head.

Has anchor & keel weight with `N` carved in bottom. Extraordinary condition for its age.

Possibly from Mitchell Fulchers hunting rig. `MF` carved in bottom.

Holly body & appears origianl Holly head. Was later in the hunting rig of Weldon Earl Fulcher, originally from `the Carteret Gun & Rod Club.

Hannibal Hamlin Davis made many of the early wooden decoys that he used, about 100, that were lost in the 1933 storm. Hamlin was a renowned hunting guide and advertised his services in the Raleigh News & Observer, and many of his hunters were from upstate. This is a very early Core Sound decoy with the traditional `Davis Shore` bent 20# nail with net weights for the keel weight.
